Jeremy Gilbert's work experience began in 2003 when they worked as a Sous Chef at Cambridge Club of Shreveport. In this role, they developed recipes for menus, created food and ice sculptures, managed inventory, and provided culinary training.

From 2006 to 2008, they were a Graphic Designer at Saatchi & Saatchi X, where their responsibilities included creating ads, package designs, and other print materials for global brands.

In 2008, they joined Central Market H-E-B as a Graphic Designer/Web Content Manager. Here, they worked with the Marketing team to create printed materials, manage the company website and blog, photograph and style food, and write copy for digital and print materials.

In 2012, Jeremy transitioned to EDKO LLC, where they initially worked as a Safety and Marketing Director. Jeremy'srole involved creating brand touchpoints, crafting industry-specific messaging, and instilling a culture of safety and quality among employees.

Starting in 2015, Jeremy took on the additional position of Operations Manager, overseeing daily operations, customer relations, and sales at one of the company's operating districts. Jeremy managed bilingual employees, learned and specified herbicide formulations, and grew the book of business.

In 2019, Jeremy was promoted to Director of Strategic Operations at EDKO LLC. In this role, their focus shifted from an individual district to the company's entire footprint and corporate agenda. Jeremy now works on developing tools and technologies to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency at operational and administrative levels, while also maintaining involvement in developing new business, managing marketing, and advising on safety programs.

Most recently, in 2022, Jeremy was promoted to the position of Vice President at EDKO LLC, with their responsibilities remaining ongoing.

Jeremy Gilbert attended LSU Shreveport from 2003 to 2005, where they earned a BFA degree in Graphic Arts and Studio Art. Prior to that, they were enrolled at Louisiana State University from 2000 to 2002, studying Graphic Design. Jeremy completed their high school education at Caddo Magnet High School from 1996 to 1999. Jeremy also holds additional certifications, including OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training obtained in January 2012. Jeremy has also obtained a Commercial Pesticide Applicator certification and a UAV Part 107 Remote Pilot certification, although the specific dates for these certifications are not provided.
