Danna Jones

Danna "Dee Dee" Jones, Ph.D., currently serves as a Partnership Manager at Edmentum since September 2022. Prior to this role, Jones was the Superintendent and Director of Teaching and Learning at Hartselle City Schools from July 2015 to August 2022. Jones also held various positions in Decatur City Schools from August 1989 to June 2015, focusing on curriculum, professional development, and career technology, and served as Principal at Somerville Road Elementary from July 2006 to September 2012. Academically, Jones earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, along with a Master's degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Education, all complemented by an Associate's Degree from Northeast State Junior College.
