Art Lead II at Edmentum

Jeff Huffman has extensive work experience in the field of media production, with a specialization in custom HTML interactives using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Currently, they are working as an Art Lead II at Edmentum, where they continue their role after the acquisition of Apex Learning. In this position, they are responsible for creating media for online education courses.

Prior to Edmentum, Jeff worked as a Principal (Freelance) at Red Candy Design, where they designed and produced websites for small business clients, while also providing illustration, branding, animation, printing, consulting, and presentation services.

Jeff also has experience working at Apex Learning, where they held various roles, including Art Lead II, Art Lead I, and Multimedia Artist. In these positions, they led media production schedules, managed work to artists, guided overall style and design, and developed new HTML5 products.

Additionally, Jeff has worked as an Illustrator and Flash Animator at Epic Digital Media, a Multimedia Artist Contractor at Plexipixel, and a Flash Designer Intern at Hidden City Games.

Jeff began their career as a Graphic and Presentations Designer at Washington Mutual, where they designed and executed executive presentations and event collateral. Jeff was unfortunately laid off in January 2009.

Prior to that, Jeff worked as a Production Artist at DMX Music (formerly AEI Music) and as an Ad Makeup Team Member at King County Journal Newspapers.

Before entering the media production industry, Jeff participated in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET), where they served as an Assistant English Teacher in local middle schools in Japan, acting as a cultural ambassador.

Overall, Jeff Huffman has a diverse range of experience in media production, with expertise in HTML interactives and a successful track record of managing schedules, overseeing work, and guiding design.

Jeff Huffman attended Red Bank High School from 1986 to 1989, where they studied Advanced English and Newspaper. From 1989 to 1994, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at Maryville College, majoring in Writing/Communications with a minor in Photography. In 1992 to 1993, they studied Japanese, Japanese Literature, and Culture at Kansai Gaidai University. Jeff later enrolled at Shoreline Community College from 2009 to 2010 and obtained an Associate of Applied Arts and Science degree in Visual Communications Technology, specializing in Digital Interactive Media.
