Walter Campbell

Walter Campbell has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Walter is currently a volunteer at Catchafire since 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Agile Delivery at Edmentum starting in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, they were a Senior Product Manager at Designlab. Before that, they had a long tenure at Apex Learning, where they held multiple positions including Product Manager, Product Development Manager, Product Owner, and Senior Scrum Master & Agile Coach from 2014 to 2021. Walter also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Allrecipes.com from 2012 to 2014 and as a Project Manager at FTI Consulting from 2007 to 2012. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Technical Writer at Attenex from 2006 to 2007, a Consultant at Sakson & Taylor from 2005 to 2006, and a Sr. Tech Writer at Tegic Communications/AOL from 2001 to 2005. In addition, they served as an Instructor (part-time) at Bellevue Community College from 2001 to 2005.

Walter Campbell obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Morehead State University, a PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute, a Six Sigma/Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Aveta Business Institute/100% Effective, and a User-Centered Design Certificate from the University of Washington. Walter also holds a BA in English from Bowling Green State University and an MS in Journalism from Ohio University. In terms of additional certifications, Walter has a range of qualifications including PMI-ACP (PMI Agile Certified Practicioner) Certification from the Project Management Institute, a Certified ScrumMaster (certification expired) from SolutionsIQ, and a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from SolutionsIQ. Walter has also completed coursework in computer programming, introductory data science, and psychology through Coursera.
