Guillaume Genetay

Guillaume Genetay has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the financial industry. Guillaume is currently a Board Member at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management UK Ltd and a Non Executive Board Member at EDREIM UK Ltd.

In their previous roles at Edmond de Rothschild, Guillaume served as the Managing Director and Global AM Head of Risk for Private markets, Head of Investment Risk for Group Real Assets and Private Equity, and Head of Investment Risk for Infrastructure/Energy Debt. Guillaume'sresponsibilities included setting up risk management governance, analyzing and providing recommendations on new investment opportunities, and monitoring existing assets under management.

Before joining Edmond de Rothschild, Guillaume worked at WestLB as the Executive Director and Head of Structured Finance Credit Risk. Guillaume led a team of credit analysts specializing in project finance and commodity structured finance loans. Guillaume was also responsible for credit risk and portfolio management.

Prior to that, Guillaume held various roles at WestLB, including Director of Project Finance Credit Risk in New York, Hong Kong, and Sydney, Associate-Director of Project Finance Credit Risk in New York, and Associate of Structured Finance Credit Risk in London.

Earlier in their career, Guillaume worked as an Analyst at BNP Paribas and Bpifrance, and as an Audit Junior at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Guillaume Genetay has a PgD (Postgraduate) degree in Financial Strategy from the University of Oxford. Guillaume also holds a Master's degree in Management and Finance from NEOMA Business School. In addition, they completed an Erasmus Exchange program in BWL at European-University Viadrina. Guillaume has also participated in the French National Defense Strategy program for graduates at the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN). Furthermore, they obtained a CFA certification in ESG investing from the CFA Institute in 2022.
