Megan Schmidt currently serves as a Teacher at Edmonton Catholic Schools, a position held since September 2020. With a strong background in education and child development, Megan previously worked as an Assistive Child Care provider for the Government of Alberta, offering support to families with autistic children from June 2012 to July 2022. In addition to teaching, Megan has extensive experience in aquatic roles, including Lifeguard and Slide Attendant for the City of Edmonton since December 2011. Megan also volunteered as an Assistant Swim Coach at Archbishop O'Leary High School from September 2013 to 2019, focusing on improving stroke efficiency for student athletes. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both degrees obtained from Concordia University of Edmonton. Additionally, Megan was a Concordia Student Ambassador from September 2015 to July 2018.
