Tya Waterman

Tya Waterman is a seasoned professional in strategic partnerships and communications, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Explore Edmonton Corporation since November 2021. Prior experience includes the role of Strategic Communications Specialist at the same organization and a position as Digital Marketing Strategist at Media Shop Collective from March to August 2021. Tya also held the position of Marketing Coordinator at The Winning Combination, Inc. from May 2018 to March 2021, and began a career in social media as a student at Riding Mountain National Park in 2017. Tya holds a Bachelor of Arts in Rhetoric, Writing, and Communications from The University of Winnipeg, completed between 2015 and 2018.
