Rob Bennett

Rob Bennett serves as the President and CEO of the Safety Codes Council since August 2023, overseeing the regulatory framework for construction codes in Alberta. Bennett has held significant roles on various boards, including Chair of the Human Resources Committee at Calvert Home Mortgage Investment Corporation and as a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee for Edmonton International Airport. Previously, Bennett was the Chief Executive Officer of SMB4.0LLC, leading a U.S. market strategy, and served as Executive Vice President at ATB Financial, driving major transformations in customer experience and overseeing extensive banking operations. Early career positions include leadership roles at RBC and CIBC across multiple regions. Educational credentials include an MBA from Queen's University, an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors, a BA in Law from Carleton University, and completion of the Canadian Securities Course with honors.
