Chandni Patel, RPR, has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as a Human Resources Assistant at Edmonton Newcomer Centre since May 2022. Previously, Chandni worked as a Human Resources Manager at The One Web Technology from November 2017 to November 2021, where responsibilities included drafting job ads, managing job postings, and conducting interviews and reference checks. Chandni's career began as a Talent Acquisition Recruiter at recruiterhelperzone from November 2015 to October 2017, engaging in full-cycle recruitment activities. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from S.P. University and a Diploma in Labour Laws Practices from Anand Law College. Chandni also attained professional development as a CIB student.

EMCN is an immigrant settlement agency whose primary focus is the successful and integrative settlement of newcomers to Edmonton. The agency operates in an inclusive environment, with a welcoming atmosphere and a holistic approach to settlement practices. EMCN offers comprehensive settlement services, including support for the most basic of needs and more intensive support for newcomers with multiple barriers. EMCN revolves its practices around the values of social justice, diversity, compassion, and responsibility, and strives to achieve these values while improving the quality of life for all newcomers and Canadians alike. EMCN is a community agency that seeks to assist immigrants and refugees coming to the Edmonton area in achieving full participation in the community as well as contributing their experiences and skills to strengthen and enrich the lives of all Canadians. This vision is pursued through a wide range of programs and services that include English as a Second Language (ESL), employment services, settlement counselling, personal counselling, community development and community economic development, advocacy, and education. The agency is committed to work in full collaboration with newcomers and their communities to provide programs to meet their needs.
