Dragan Velkov

Dragan Velkov is an experienced Principal Applications Engineer at Edmund Optics, contributing significantly to project engineering and management within the company's laser optics portfolio since May 2016. With a solid background in managing multi-million-dollar projects for both commercial and ITAR customers, Dragan has developed extensive project plans, coordinated resource management, and led technical discussions on laser optics performance. Prior to this role, Dragan held positions as a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer at CVI Laser Optics and as the Laser Test Laboratory Manager at VLOC, where responsibilities included improving production yields, conducting internal audits for quality management systems, and executing metrology transfers internationally. Dragan possesses a Master of Science in Physics from York University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Belgrade.
