Matthew Dobies

Matthew Dobies is an accomplished Project Engineer with extensive experience in project management and engineering analysis across various sectors, including optics and defense. Currently employed at Edmund Optics since September 2017, Matthew leads the development and production of diverse product lines and custom optics while collaborating with engineering teams. Prior experience includes a contract role at Panasonic USA, managing B2B solutions, and serving as Program Manager at UTC Aerospace Systems, where Matthew focused on InGaAs arrays and SWIR cameras. Matthew's career began with the United States Department of Defense and the US Army, where responsibilities involved managing contract requirements for advanced night vision systems. Matthew holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Physics from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The College of New Jersey.
