Sarah Hood has over 25 years of experience in administrative and executive support roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Executive Assistant to the President and COO at Edmund Optics since September 2021, Sarah previously held the position of Executive Administrator at Passage Bio, supporting the COO and a 30-person team during significant growth. Prior roles include Director of Initial Certification and Policy Administrator at the American Board of Internal Medicine, where policy communication for certification exams was a key responsibility, and Executive Assistant at Rohm and Haas Company, where Sarah uncovered over $200,000 in fraudulent reimbursements. Earlier experience includes a position as Assistant to the Publisher at Institute of Physics Publishing, focusing on market research and editorial recruitment. Sarah Hood holds a Master’s degree in Applied Physics from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Franklin & Marshall College.
