Zachary Evans

Zachary Evans is an experienced Optical Coatings Engineer with a background in optics and optical sciences, holding both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester. Currently employed at Edmund Optics since August 2017, Zachary has also served as an Optical Engineer within the same organization. Prior experience includes operating lens molding machines at Rochester Precision Optics to produce innovative aspheric laser collimation lenses and interning as a Laser Engineer at JP Innovations, where skills were developed in designing methods to address thermal lensing and manufacturing discrepancies, as well as prototyping diode-pumped lasers.
