Jesse Cohen

Jesse Cohen has a diverse work experience that began in 2014. They started as a Research Assistant at the University of California, San Diego, where they worked on a Transponder-Based Aircraft Detector project. During this role, they integrated a 3D accelerometer onto the detector's antenna to obtain real-time altitude, azimuth, and elevation readings.

In 2015, Cohen transitioned to a role as a Football Journalist at SDBoltReport.com. They were responsible for producing game analysis articles, creating player bios, and writing articles on fantasy football. They also conducted interviews with prospective and current Chargers players to gain insights into specific schemes and player roles.

From 2015 to 2020, Cohen took on a new challenge as a Professional Athlete with the San Diego Growlers. Their role involved participating in professional ultimate frisbee games.

In 2016, Cohen joined STATS LLC as a Live Football Reporter, contributing to reporting on live football events.

In the same year, Cohen also began working at NFL Media as a Next Gen Stats Analyst. They held this role until 2020, providing analysis and insights using Next Gen Stats.

From 2014 to 2017, Cohen worked as a Physics and Math Tutor at Varsity Tutors, supporting students in those subjects.

In 2020, Cohen joined Edmunds as a Senior Analyst/Data Scientist. They have since taken on the additional role of Founding Co-Leader of the Pride ERG, where they have helped establish a charter and create a safe space for LGBTQIA+ employees, while also supporting related foundations and providing resources to the community. They continue to hold both roles at Edmunds.

Jesse Cohen pursued their education and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from UC San Diego, from the year 2010 to 2015. In July 2020, they also obtained a Python (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank.
