Michael Mauro

Michael Mauro has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Michael worked at Edmunds as a Senior Software Engineer starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Developer at Intercontinental Exchange from June 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they were involved in the design, development, and testing of multiple components for the ICE Portfolio Analytics (IPA) platform. Michael also developed RESTful APIs for inter-process communication.

Before that, Michael worked at Fidelity Investments from January 2017 to June 2020. Michael held the position of Senior Software Engineer and was a member of the Multi Account Management team. Their responsibilities included designing, developing, and testing a portfolio optimization application using Axioma, Spring, and Java. Michael also worked with REST calls, Kafka services, and SQL queries to consume data from multiple sources.

Prior to that, from January 2015 to December 2016, Michael was a Software Engineer in the Embedded Tactical Development team at Fidelity Investments. Michael worked on various projects using different frameworks and languages based on the specific requirements of each project.

Michael started their career at Fidelity Investments in July 2013 as an Associate Software Engineer. Michael was a member of the Pinnacle SharePoint project team and also served as a Scrum Master. Michael contributed to the development of a custom SharePoint website and worked on the static reporting team using OBIEE. Michael also completed the Fidelity Investments Leap Training Program, a development program for recent IT graduates.

Before entering the workforce, Michael worked at Boston University as a CAS-IT from September 2010 to May 2013.
