Jessica Pellow

Vice President, Marketing at Edo Japan

Jessica Pellow has had a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jessica started their career as an Operations Analyst at Borderfree Inc in 2000 and later worked as an Ecommerce Specialist, Customer Experience at Danier Leather in 2001.

In 2003, Jessica joined Indigo Books and Music Inc. as a Production Coordinator and eventually worked their way up to become the Creative Services Director. In this role, they led the strategic planning and execution of various marketing strategies, including store design and the development of next-gen stores. Jessica also played a leadership role in rebuilding the construction delivery process, resulting in significant cost savings.

Jessica joined Canadian Tire Corporation in 2011 as an Associate Vice President, Events & Creative, where they built a high-performing events team and implemented effective governance and processes. Jessica then transitioned to the role of AVP, Strategic Partnerships, where they successfully negotiated high-value sponsorship and partnership agreements and implemented a scorecard system to assess the value of partnerships.

In 2017, Jessica became the AVP, Marketing at FGL Sports Ltd, where they oversaw strategic and tactical planning, media and digital strategy. Jessica led a team of digital marketing experts and achieved operational efficiencies, increasing media return on ad spend.

In 2019, Jessica returned to Canadian Tire Corporation as the AVP, Marketing Strategy, Planning & Integration. In this role, they led the integration of marketing business across various banners and developed customer strategies to attract and provide value to core customer segments. Jessica also managed a significant operating and capital budget and transformed seasonal planning processes.

Jessica's most recent role is Vice President, Marketing at Edo Japan, which they started in 2021.

Jessica Pellow pursued higher education at various institutions throughout their career. From 2021 to 2023, they attended the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, where they earned an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree. Prior to this, from 2001 to 2003, Jessica studied at Seneca Polytechnic, focusing on Creative Advertising and attaining a degree in Advertising & Communications. Additionally, they completed a Certificate program in Leadership from the Ivey Business School at Western University. Furthermore, Jessica obtained a Certificate in Data Analytics from Kellogg Executive Education. Although the specific start and end years for the latter two certificates are not given, it is evident that Jessica's commitment to continuous education has allowed their to gain expertise in various fields.
