Charles W. Smith, M.D., is the Founder, Chairman, and Medical Director of eDocAmerica, and is a board-certified family physician with over 40 years of experience in practice.
He is a Professor in the Department of Preventive and Family Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) where he has been serving since 1989. He recently founded Dr. Smith Direct Care, a direct primary care practice located in west Little Rock. In addition, he serves as the medical director of Poplar Grove, a rehabilitation facility in Little Rock, and is the medical director for Arkansas Health and Nutrition, nutritional counseling, and weight loss service. He is a member of the LLC Management Team, a Member of the Quality Management Committee, and a Member of the Editorial Review Team.
