Vera Krimnus has a diverse work experience that spans across various organizations and roles. Vera started their career in 2005 as a Consultant at GivingWorks Inc. In 2009, they worked as an MBA Intern at StarCite. From 2010 to 2011, they were an Independent Consultant. Following that, they joined Teach For America in 2011 as the Director of Strategy, where they served until 2015. In 2015, they took on the role of Broad Resident at The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems and also became the Director of Performance Management at Cesar Chavez Public Charter Schools for Public Policy. Vera'smost recent role was at EdOps, where they initially worked as a Consultant starting in 2018 and later became the Director of People Operations in an unspecified year.

Vera Krimnus began their education at Hunter College High School, where they attended from 1995 to 2001. Upon graduating, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at Wesleyan University. Vera studied in the College of Social Studies from 2001 to 2005.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Vera Krimnus took a break from formal education before returning to pursue further degrees. In 2008, they enrolled in The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Strategic Management. Simultaneously, they were also enrolled at The Lauder Institute, also at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Master's degree in International Studies. Vera completed both programs in 2010.

In 2015, Vera Krimnus sought to develop their knowledge and skills in the field of Education Leadership. Vera attended The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems, earning a Master's degree in this field from 2015 to 2017.
