Diana Calvache

Diana Calvache has a diverse work experience. Diana began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at Heritage Pharmacy in August 2011. Afterwards, they became an Eyewear Specialist at Visionworks of America in May 2009. At Visionworks, they worked closely with an on-site Optometrist to provide the best customer service and recommend appropriate eyewear. Diana also received extensive training in insurance verification, progressive lens measurements, and HIPAA privacy laws.

In 2013, Diana enrolled in Dev Bootcamp, where they completed an intensive nine-week program focused on agile web development. During this time, they gained proficiency in coding languages such as Ruby, Rails, Javascript, AJAX, and SQL.

After completing Dev Bootcamp, Diana began their career in software engineering. Diana joined 8th Light in June 2014 as a Student Apprentice, where they learned valuable design patterns and software development processes. Diana also participated in weekly pairing sessions with experienced Craftsman. From September 2014 to June 2015, they served as a Resident Apprentice, implementing the skills they had learned in projects such as Tic Tac Toe and Battleship. Finally, from July 2015 to January 2017, Diana worked at 8th Light as a Software Crafter, collaborating with a Craftsman on various client projects.

In 2017, Diana transitioned to a role as a Junior Software Engineer at Reverb.com, where they gained hands-on experience in software development. Later that year, they joined Blueleaf.com as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development of software solutions until October 2018.

Most recently, Diana joined Edovo in December 2018 as a Software Engineer, bringing their expertise to the company's software development projects.

Diana Calvache pursued their education in computer science at Texas Woman's University from 2012 to 2013. Subsequently, in 2013, they attended Dev Bootcamp to enhance their skills in web development.
