Carlos González Martínez

Carlos González Martínez has a diverse work experience encompassing roles in the energy sector. Carlos worked at EDP Energía as the Deputy Director of Solar DG Engineering for the European Platform. Prior to that, they also held the position of Head of Business Development for B2B Services at the same company. Earlier in their career, Carlos worked as the Responsable de Regulación Internacional y Mercados Mayoristas at EDP Energía. Carlos also gained experience at EDP Renewables North America, where they worked as a Construction Engineer Specialist, Junior Construction Engineer, and Junior Solar Engineer. Additionally, they worked as a Becario Master Universitario Oficial en Energías Renovables and a Becario Fundación HC- Energía at EDP Renováveis.

Carlos González Martínez completed a Master's degree in Renewable Energies from Universidad CEU San Pablo in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Oviedo in 2005-2010. Currently, they are undertaking an Advanced Management Program at IE Business School starting from 2022.
