Nuno Maroto

Nuno Maroto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy and automotive sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Specialist at EDP since 2007, Nuno manages coal power plant systems operations and oversees annual coal transport and handling systems acquisitions. Previous roles include Operations Development Manager, focusing on outsourcing contracts and water treatment systems, and Business Unit Manager, where responsibilities included management of plant operations and maintenance. Prior to EDP, Nuno held the position of Team Manager and Technical Planner at TE Connectivity, driving technical planning and cost-saving initiatives for production lines in the automotive industry. Nuno also served as Technical Training Manager at Grupo Renault Portugal, providing commercial training for new car models. Nuno holds a 5Y Licentiate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra.
