Pedro Ferreira

Pedro Ferreira has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Global Energy Management at EDP since October 2003. Ferreira has held various leadership positions within EDP, including Head of Energy Management, Chief Risk Officer, and Board Member at EDP Comercial. Additionally, Ferreira has been a Member of the Executive Board at EDP Produção and has experience as a Project Manager in Energy Planning. Between November 2020 and November 2022, Ferreira was a Board Member at the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET), and previously served as a Board Member at Fundação EDP. Early in his career, Ferreira worked as a Senior Consultant at DiamondCluster and as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company. Educational qualifications include an AMP from Católica/Kellogg, an MBA from INSEAD, and an MSc in Electrotechnical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
