Julia Bachurina

Julia Bachurina has a long work experience in the translation and teaching fields. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Teacher of English at J-School. From 2009 to 2011, they were employed at edpnet as a Helpdesk Manager, Helpdesk Supervisor L1 (Dutch/English), and Helpdesk Engineer L1 (Dutch/English). In 2011, they started working as a Freelance Translator (Russian - Dutch/English, Dutch/English - Russian) at EGO Translating. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Teacher of English at Viva Lingua. Since 2014, they have been working as a Freelance Translator (Russian - Dutch, Dutch - Russian) at Translation Bureau "IDS".

Julia Bachurina began their education in 1998 at Murmansk Polytechnical Lyceum, where they studied Russian Language and Literature, Julia'story, and Law. In 2002, they enrolled in Murmansk Linguistic College, where they studied English Language and English-speaking Countries. In 2004, they graduated from Pskov State University with a Linguist degree in Dutch/Flemish Language and a Teacher of English and German degree in Linguistics, Psychology, Pedagogics, and Methodology of Teaching Foreign Languages. In 2006, they attended the New York - St.Petersburg Institute of Cognitive and Cultural Studies Summer School, studying Linguistics and Politics. In 2007, they attended Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, studying Leraar Opleiding (Nederlands).
