Rui Pereira

Rui Pereira has a strong background in leadership roles in product design and user experience (UX). Rui currently serves as the Director of Product Design, Content Design, and User Research at eDreams ODIGEO, where they manage a large team across Europe and is responsible for defining and delivering the company's vision and strategy. Prior to this, Rui worked as the Head of Product Design at eDreams ODIGEO.

Before joining eDreams ODIGEO, Rui held positions at Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline, where they served as the Head of UX Research & Usability, Deputy Head of Product Design, Senior UX Researcher, and UX Researcher. In these roles, Rui managed teams of designers and researchers, informed product strategy, conducted user research, and ensured a best-in-class user experience.

Rui began their career as a Physical Education Teacher and Football Coach before transitioning into the field of UX and product design.

Rui Pereira earned a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from the Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra from 2012 to 2014. Rui also holds a Licentiate degree in Basic Education Teachers with a specialization in Physical Education from the same institution.
