Joakim Leijon is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in the drinks industry, currently serving as Global Brand Director and Global Head of Marketing at Edrington since December 2012. With a strong focus on global marketing and commercial strategy, Joakim has held various leadership roles, including Head of Marketing for the Middle East & Africa and Nordics, where responsibilities included regional commercial management and marketing oversight. Joakim’s expertise also encompasses marketing management for well-known brands such as Jim Beam, Maker's Mark, and Laphroaig. Prior to Edrington, Joakim worked as a Brand Manager at The Xante Company and as a Business Manager at United Media Group. Joakim holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from Stockholm University.
