Liz McLaughlin

Liz McLaughlin serves as the Regional Director of Operations at EDSI since January 2021, where transformational and transactional leadership is provided to youth participants seeking workforce entry through training and on-the-job experience. Previously, Liz held positions at Bright Horizons as Director, overseeing daily operations and quality assurance compliance, and at Highland Rim Economic Corp as Program Director, managing Head Start program standards across a four-county service area. Liz also worked as Program Evaluator II for the Tennessee Department of Human Services, conducting classroom assessments for state licensing, and as Assessment Specialist at the University of Tennessee, focusing on classroom standards and staff training. Liz earned a Bachelor of Science in Special Education from Austin Peay State University from 1995 to 1998.
