Nicolae B.

Nicolae B. has a diverse range of work experience in the maritime industry. Nicolae started their career in 2012 as an Engineer with V.Ships, where they gained experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing main engines, auxiliary engines, purifiers, boilers, and other machinery.

After that, they worked as a Maritime Engineer Officer at Cosena, where they were responsible for maintaining and operating various engine systems on the AMBER Bulk Carrier.

From 2014 to 2015, Nicolae B. worked as a Maritime Engineer Officer at EDT Offshore, where they were responsible for maintenance and technical operations in the engine department, specifically on the DP2 OSV "EDT Kennedy."

Nicolae then continued their career at EDT Offshore, serving as a Maritime Engineer Officer on the DP3 DSV "EDT Protea" from 2015 to 2016. During this role, they were responsible for maintenance and technical operation in the engine department, including diesel engines, compressors, purifiers, pumps, azimuth thrusters, and other machinery.

In 2017, Nicolae B. took on the role of 2nd Engineer with EDT Offshore on the DP2 MPSV "EDT Hercules." Their responsibilities included operating and maintaining the main engine, emergency generator, and propulsion systems.

Most recently, Nicolae B. has been serving as Chief Engineer on the DP2 MPSV "EDT Jane" at EDT Offshore since March 2022. Their role involves overseeing the main engine, emergency generator, and propulsion systems, among other duties.

Nicolae B. completed their education with a degree in Naval Electromechanics Engineering from Constanta Maritime University. Nicolae attended the university from 2011 to 2013, studying in the Faculty of Naval Electromechanics. Prior to this, they pursued a degree in Automotive Engineering from Ovidius University of Constanta. Nicolae attended this university from 2006 to 2010.
