Ellen Senisi

Ellen Senisi has been an Author, Photographer, and Educator since 1997. In 2013, they founded EdTechLens2, LLC to create their curriculum program, Rainforest Journey. Ellen developed the program vision, contributed content, and supervised a team of educators and media specialists to help build the digital K-5 life science curriculum. In 2009, they co-owned Senisi Multimedia which produced concept-oriented videos using still images, video, and audio, including original music developed for each project. The videos produced were conceptual and creative blends of word, image, and music.

Ellen Senisi began their educational journey in 1973, when they earned a BS in Education from State University of New York College at Oswego. Ellen then continued their studies at State University of New York College at Cortland, where they received an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Elementary Education Curriculum in 1977. From 1976 to 1976, they attended the University of Oxford to study Victorian Literature. Ellen then went to Virginia Tech in 1977 to pursue a degree in Educational Media and Technology, which they did not complete. Finally, they earned a C.A.G.S. in Educational Media and Technology from Boston University in 1981.
