Valonda Theus is a dedicated Special Education Teacher with over 20 years of experience in early childhood special education, focusing on students with diverse learning disabilities, ranging from mild to severe. Currently employed at EdTheory since December 2020, Valonda implements weekly lesson plans, individualized education program (IEP) goals, behavior management, and intervention strategies. Prior to this role, Valonda spent 20 years at the Los Angeles Unified School District, where the same responsibilities and focus on early childhood special education were maintained. Valonda holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Special Education from California State University-Dominguez Hills, earned between 1998 and 2000.
