Technology Integration Specialist at Edu-Tech Academic Solutions

Lisa joined Edu-Tech’s team of Instructional Technology Integrators in August 2018, after working in the field of education in a variety of roles. In her current placement at Jack Barrack Hebrew Academy, she works with teachers to ensure best practices in technology integration through faculty meetings, department meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, Lunch & Learns and any other time that allows for collaboration with staff. With a school level focus on Google Apps (G Suite) and the Canvas Learning Management System, Lisa provides the teachers with technology how-to’s, guidance, co-planning ideas and all technology support needed.

Prior to joining Edu-Tech, Lisa worked at the Pottstown School District, after graduating from West Chester University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She continued her graduate studies at Penn State Great Valley, subsequently earning her M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction in 2001. She went on to complete her Administration Certification at Penn State Great Valley in 2002. She spent time as a classroom teacher in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and 7th grade Social Studies. She was a Technology Coach for Classrooms For the Future (CFF) at the high school level. Lisa ended her many years with the Pottstown School District as Supervisor of Federal Program, English/Language Arts and Multi Tier System of Support. She is well versed in the needs of educators and is skilled at building relationships in a coaching capacity that enables trust to be built and promotes calculated risk-taking on the part of teachers who work with her.
