Carlos A. Rodrigo Mendoza has extensive work experience in the financial sector. Carlos A. started their career as a Practitioner of Investigation at PAD Universidad de Piura in 2010. Carlos A. then worked as a Practitioner at Banco Interamericano de Finanzas - BIF from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for debt instrument structuring and issuance. Carlos A. also worked as an Assistant of Finance and was in charge of monitoring contract covenants and quarterly evaluations by credit rating agencies.

From 2019 to 2021, Carlos served as the Chief of Finance and Treasury at Fenix. In this role, they oversaw budgeting, financial projection, insurance policy management, and treasury operations. Carlos A. also handled relationships with banks, investors, and credit rating agencies.
In 2021, Carlos joined Rimac Seguros y Reaseguros as the Chief of Financial Planning and Modeling. Carlos A. was later promoted to Assistant Manager of Planning and Control.
Additionally, Carlos is a cofounder of Educa.Impacta.Crece, an organization that they started in 2012. And in 2023, they became a cofounder of Amateur Coffee & Run Club.
Carlos A. Rodrigo Mendoza studied Economics at Universidad de Piura from 2007-2012 as a student. Carlos A. also completed the International Program in Management and Regulation of the Electric Sector 360° at UTEC - Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología.
