Andrew Holloway has a diverse range of work experience in the education sector, spanning over four decades. Andrew began their career in 1976 as a Senior Research Officer in the Department of Defence, where they worked in intelligence analysis and policy research.

In 1979, they joined Murdoch University and played a key role in establishing the first international office at the university. Andrew also facilitated international student enrolments and developed student exchange agreements. Andrew later became an Administrative Officer and Faculty Manager.

Holloway's most recent role was as the Vice President of University Partnerships and Pathways for ECA, beginning in September 2017. In this position, they continued to develop university partnerships and pathways for international students.

Throughout their career, Holloway has demonstrated expertise in building university partnerships, developing international strategies, expanding international enrolments, and improving staff morale in international departments.
