Rodrigo Guimarães has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Rodrigo started their career at Tecnobeep Comercial Ltda as an Intern, where they worked as an Electronic Technician focusing on mobile phones. Rodrigo then joined CellStar as a Senior Mobile Phone Technician before moving to Nokia Mobile Phones as a Mobile Phone Technician. At Nokia, they were responsible for repairing mobile phones to component level and offering insights for process improvement. Rodrigo then transitioned to Jabil as a Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager, where they oversaw quality assurance processes.
In 2008, Rodrigo joined Education Centre of Australia, where they have held multiple roles. Rodrigo started as an International Recruitment Manager and eventually progressed to Sales and Marketing Manager. In this role, they demonstrated their expertise in market analysis, marketing strategy implementation, and managing international education agency partners. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director, Student Recruitment, and recently started their role as Director, International Student Recruitment in January 2022.
Rodrigo Guimarães has a diverse education history. Rodrigo started their academic journey at the ITB - Instituto Tecnologico de Barueri from 1999 to 2001, obtaining a Diploma in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician. Following this, they attended the Australian College of Technology from 2007 to 2009, earning an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (Network Engineering). Rodrigo then pursued a Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) at Victoria University, completing their degree between 2010 and 2012. In addition to their formal education, Rodrigo obtained the HubSpot Inbound Sales Certification from HubSpot in April 2017.
