Deven Scott has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2012, they worked in the Governor's Office for the State of South Dakota. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Staff Assistant and later as the Special Projects Manager & Deputy Scheduler for the United States Senate. In 2017, they joined the Education Commission of the States as a Policy Researcher and subsequently held roles as a State Relations Associate, State Relations Strategist, and currently serves as the Assistant Director of State Relations.
Deven Scott's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in History and Political Science from the University of South Dakota, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Deven later pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree at the same university from 2015 to 2016.
