Tiffany McDole has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Tiffany began their career as a 5th Grade Teacher at Teach for America from 2008 to 2010. Tiffany then worked at Vanderbilt Peabody College as a Research Assistant in the Special Education Department from 2010 to 2011, and later as a Research Assistant for the Tennessee Consortium on Research, Evaluation, and Development from 2011 to 2012.
After that, they joined the Tennessee Department of Education in 2011 as a Special Projects Manager, First to the Top Office, where they worked until 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they served as the Executive Director of Training & Support in the Division of Curriculum and Instruction at the Tennessee Department of Education.
In 2015, McDole joined TNTP as a Director and held the role until 2019. Since November 2019, they have been working as a Director at the Education Commission of the States.
Tiffany McDole completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Policy Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2004 to 2008. Tiffany then pursued further education at Vanderbilt University, where they earned their Master's degree in Education Policy from 2010 to 2012.
