As a credit union, ECU is a not-for-profit financial institution. This means that the money ECU earns goes right back into the credit union, giving ECU the ability to provide members with great dividends, competitive rates, outstanding financial products and cutting-edge technology. No group of stockholders is benefiting from the success of ECU; only its members are!

ECU members aren’t just a bunch of customer numbers. ECU members are part owners, giving them the right to vote in the annual election of the ECU volunteer board of directors. 

ECU is proud to volunteer for and support many of the wonderful organizations to which our members belong. We travel out into the community, furthering financial literacy. Each year, we award four scholarships to members who are graduating from high school, and we have donated more than $300,000 in Pocket Change grants to local teachers to fund projects in their classrooms.
