Andrew Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Andrew currently serves as the Chief of Party for the USAID Teach for Tomorrow program at EDC. In this role, they support Egypt's Ministry of Education and Technical Education in improving teacher professional development and establishing a teacher licensing and promotion system.
Prior to their current position, Andrew worked at Chemonics International as the Director of the Global Health Supply Chain program in Nigeria. Andrew also served as the Chief of Party for the USAID Sindh Reading Program, aimed at improving reading instruction and learning outcomes in Pakistan. Andrew Lewis earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology/Zoology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville between 1985 and 1989. Later, between 1993 and 1995, they completed graduate coursework in international relations at The George Washington University. In 1992 and 1993, Andrew pursued a Graduate Fellowship Education at Tulane University.
