Anne L. Bryant is a Board Member at EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT CENTER INC. Anne was previously the Executive Director at American Association of University Women from April 1986 to June 1996. As the Executive Director, they increased membership from 80,000 to 160,000. Anne also focused the mission from 70 legislative priorities to promoting education and equity for women and girls. To achieve this, they launched well-known research with a series of state and local roundtable symposia to drive policy agenda around girls' development issues. Some of their most notable publications include Shortchanging Girls, Shortchanging America (1990), the AAUW Report (1991), and Hostile Hallways (1993). Furthermore, they increased the Foundation's assets from $44 million to $100 million. Lastly, they increased the American and international fellows program and community action grants from $2 million to $5 million.

Before their time at American Association of University Women, Anne L. Bryant was the Vice President at P.M. Haeger and Associates from September 1974 to March 1986.

Anne L. Bryant earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the field of higher education/labor law. Anne also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Simmons University in English/education.
