Kevin Waterman

Kevin Waterman has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. Kevin started their career in 1995 at Delphi Internet Services as a Technical Service Team Leader, where they managed a team and maintained an internal website. In 1996, they joined Lotus Development Corporation, Lotus Consulting, IBM Lotus Professional Services, Lotus/IBM, Lotus Professional Services within the IBM Software Group, Lotus Professional Svcs./IBM, and Lotus Architected Solutions Group as a Principal Systems Engineer. In these roles, they led development projects for major clients and conducted analysis, design, and research. From 2000 to 2001, they worked at HighPoint, Inc. as the Director of Product Marketing, overseeing product management, engineering, marketing, sales, and professional services. Since 2004, they have been working at Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) as a Senior Project Director, directing various projects focused on improving education, health, and economic opportunity worldwide.

Kevin Waterman holds a BA degree in Mathematics from Trinity College-Hartford, which they obtained between 1983 and 1987. Kevin also pursued further education and obtained a MAT degree in Mathematics Education from Boston University between 2003 and 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained several certifications, including "Social and Behavioral Research" from the CITI Program in September 2023, "Understanding & Mitigating Implicit Bias" from EDC (Education Development Center) in 2021, and "Project Management for Development Professionals" from APM Group in 2016. Kevin has also obtained licensures in Mathematics education from the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, including "Mathematics, 8-12, Initial Licensure" in 2004 and "Mathematics 5-8, Provisional" in 2002.
