Shelley Pasnik

Shelley Pasnik serves as the Senior Vice President of External Affairs at the Education Development Center (EDC) since 2007, where a focus is placed on enhancing the visibility and impact of the organization's early childhood initiatives. EDC is a global non-profit with a $165 million annual budget, emphasizing improvements in education, health, and economic opportunities. Prior to this role, Shelley held positions including Senior Vice President and Vice President/Director at the Center for Children and Technology, overseeing research in educational practices amidst challenges of poverty and inequity. Earlier career experience includes serving as Senior Researcher at the Center for Children and Technology, Director of Children's Policy at the Center for Media Education, and University Programs Specialist for the Peace Corps. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from UCLA and a Master's Degree in American Studies from the University of Maryland.
