Andrine Walker has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Andrine started their career as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they performed audits on clients in the financial services and consumer products industries. Andrine then moved on to ICMA Retirement Corporation, where they worked as a Senior Financial Accountant and supervised staff accountants while preparing monthly financial statements and journal entries.
Following that, Andrine worked at SenecaOne Finance as a Controller, managing all general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activities. Andrine was also responsible for producing monthly and quarterly financial statements.
Andrine then took on the role of Controller at Committee for Economic Development, where they managed the monthly closing process and grant reporting. Andrine later became the Financial Reporting Manager at Council on Foundations, overseeing the monthly close process, financial statements, and internal control procedures.
Most recently, Andrine joined National Board for Professional Teaching Standards as a Controller, where they managed all financial operations and implemented new accounting procedures for increased efficiency.
Throughout their career, Andrine has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise in accounting, and a focus on improving processes and internal controls.
Andrine Walker attended Howard University from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting.
