Urjit Patel

Urjit Patel has a strong background in the financial industry with experience in various leadership roles. Urjit is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Education First FCU, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this, Urjit founded and served as the Managing Partner at UVKP Property since February 2014. Urjit also worked at Axiom Bank, N.A. from November 2018 to April 2021 as the Executive Vice President of Retail Operations, where they were responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, and customer experience. Before that, Urjit was the Chief Experience Officer and Senior Vice President at Smart Financial Credit Union from 2016 to 2018, focusing on member engagement, brand loyalty, and revenue growth. Urjit also worked as the Regional Vice President at FAIRWINDS Credit Union from 2009 to 2016, where they led sales and marketing efforts, targeted new markets, and drove significant growth in loans and deposits.

Urjit Patel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems and Finance from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Financial Analysis and Risk Management from The Risk Management Association in April 2015, as well as Commercial and Consumer Credit Diplomas from the American Bankers Association in September 1995.
