Rose Cardarelli

Rose Cardarelli, Ed.D., FACHE is the Founder & CEO of Education for All Coalition, dedicated to creating educational opportunities for refugees and vulnerable children. Rose also serves as Council Leader at U.S.-Japan Council, SEL Ambassador at UNESCO, and on the Governing Board of Directors at mEducation Alliance. Additionally, Rose holds various positions in boards and committees related to education and international development. Rose has an extensive educational background, including a Doctor of Education degree from William & Mary and various certifications in healthcare and military sectors.

Education for All Coalition

The Education for All Coalition (EFAC), Inc. is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit dedicated to creating educational opportunities and finding solutions that empower displaced and vulnerable children in refugee camps and settlements around the world. EFAC operates through an international network of organizations, stakeholders, and individuals. Our strategy is designed to identify gaps in education services and implement programs that provide flexible pedagogy with quality assessment oversight through direct and remote engagement. Our approach is collaborative and comprehensive, our tools and thinking are innovative and agile, and we cultivate education through a peace-building and global awareness lens. We focus on capacity building, innovation, and social-emotional learning to enhance cognitive development, agility in teaching, and overall well-being. Fostering healthy life habits and environmental sustainability are integral parts of our programs to improve conditions for all children so they can become thriving global citizens with unlimited potential. Our Foundation Programs are designed to be adapted in accordance with local needs and requirements and include Early Childhood Education, Social-Emotional Learning, and Psychosocial Support. We also have Specialized Programs aimed at educators and sustainability, and our Support Programs covering best practices. Some of our past initiatives include: Education and health resources for refugee children transitioning at the US/Mexico border; Education and health consultation support to OXFAM and the International Refugee Congress in Turkey; Education program resources with CARITAS in Greece; Education collaboration with WAR Child in Lebanon; Materials and staff training for governmental organizations in Jordan, Haiti, and Thailand. EFAC is officially recognized partner of the Department of Global Communications and the Innovation Academy at the UN, as well as the UNHCR Global Refugee Forum.
