Abigail Nuñez Ed.d.

Abigail Nuñez, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience in the education field. Most recently, they have been serving as the Chief of Schools at Education for Change Public Schools since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Executive Director at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools from 2021 to 2022. Abigail also held the role of Principal / Mentor Principal at Alliance Tennenbaum Family Technology High School from 2013 to 2021. Abigail started their career in education with the Los Angeles Unified School District in 2002, where they worked as a Teacher, Instructional Coach, and Founding Principal until 2013. Before joining the district, they gained international experience as an English Teaching Assistant at the Fulbright Commission from 2001 to 2002. Overall, Abigail Nuñez, Ed.D. has a strong background in school leadership and a passion for improving educational outcomes.

Abigail Nuñez, Ed.D. completed their Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at the University of Notre Dame from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts in Elementary Education at Loyola Marymount University, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Finally, Abigail obtained their Doctor of Education - EdD in Educational Leadership from the University of California, Los Angeles, which they completed from 2005 to 2008.
