EDUCATION FOR CHANGE
Diane Tadano, M.A., serves as an Education Specialist at Education for Change Public Schools, providing instruction to K-5th grade students and utilizing effective management strategies. With extensive experience at Playworks, Diane held multiple roles, including Educational Media Specialist, National Trainer, and Program Director, where responsibilities encompassed training development, stakeholder management, and program oversight. Additional experience includes serving as Assistant General Manager at The New Parkway Theater, overseeing operations and human resources, as well as participating in a leadership exchange program in Peru. Diane holds a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching from California State University - East Bay, a Master's in Psychology from Capella University, and a B.S. in Community and Regional Development from the University of California, Davis.

Education for Change (EFC) is Oakland’s largest charter management organization, non-profit. We operate 7 free public charter schools in and serve over 3,000 Tk-10 students in the Fruitvale and Elmhurst neighborhoods of East Oakland.
