EDUCATION FOR CHANGE
Hector Contreras-Ramazzini is a dedicated education professional currently serving as a Science Teacher at Education for Change Public Schools since August 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Bilingual Administrative Assistant at Oakland Unified School District from January 2019 to July 2022, where responsibilities involved supporting truancy hearings and assisting the Expanded Learning team. Hector earned a Bachelor's degree in Politics with a focus on Latin American and Latino Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, from 2013 to 2018.

Education for Change (EFC) is Oakland’s largest charter management organization, non-profit. We operate 7 free public charter schools in and serve over 3,000 Tk-10 students in the Fruitvale and Elmhurst neighborhoods of East Oakland.
