Melissa Knell

Melissa Knell is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and tutoring. Currently serving as a Kindergarten Teacher at Education for Change Public Schools since July 2020, Melissa previously held positions as a Certificated Tutor at Foothill Elementary School and a Substitute Teacher with Santa Barbara Unified School District. Additionally, Melissa contributed to the Student Success Partnership by providing group tutoring sessions in foster homes and worked as a Behavior Specialist at Center for Social Dynamics, where individualized lesson plans were developed. Educational experience includes serving as an Admissions Host and Resident Assistant at the University of Redlands, where engagement and student support were prioritized. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, both from the University of Redlands.
