Michael Edeza-Salvant

Michael Edeza-Salvant is an experienced educator currently serving as a Kindergarten Teacher and Resident Teacher at Education for Change Public Schools since August 2019. Prior to this role, Michael contributed as a Corp Member at Jumpstart from October 2016 to May 2019, focusing on early education for children in under-resourced communities. In addition to teaching, Michael has experience as a Preschool Volunteer at St. Mary's Center during the summer of 2018, where involvement included creating a safe learning environment. Michael also worked as a Math Tutor at Hartnell College from June 2015 to June 2016, providing academic support to students. Michael holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Saint Mary's College of California, where a Bachelor's degree in Justice, Community, and Leadership was also earned.
