Heidi Sisson

Sales Operations Manager at Education Management Solutions

Heidi Sisson has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Heidi began their career in 1993 at the University of Michigan as a Financial Aid Officer, eventually becoming the Senior Financial Aid Officer for the Business School Graduate Financial Aid Office. In this role, they managed the financial aid office, programs, presentations, and administered university endowments and awards. Heidi then joined Eastern Michigan University in 2001 as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid before moving back to the University of Michigan in 2003 as an Admission Officer.

In 2004, Heidi transitioned into the corporate world by joining Citi as an Account Manager with a focus on growing federal and private loan volume market share. Heidi consistently exceeded sales growth expectations in this role. Heidi later became the National Segment Manager for the Graduate MBA Market, where they were responsible for business development and growth.

In 2008, Heidi joined Wells Fargo as a Regional Account Executive for a brief period before joining Cognition Financial (formerly First Marblehead) in 2010. At First Marblehead, they served as a Relationship Manager, working to grow market share for private loan programs through strategic planning and developing professional relationships. Additionally, they managed Salesforce and executed Pardot marketing campaigns.

In 2017, Heidi became the Manager of Business Development at Cognition Financial, where they continued to contribute to the company's growth until 2020. Heidi then joined CampusLogic as a Client Executive, working with clients from 2020 to 2022. Currently, in 2022, Heidi is serving as a Sales Operations Manager at Education Management Solutions.

Heidi Sisson obtained their Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Communications from Eastern Michigan University in the years 1988 to 1993. Later, in 2000, they attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, where they completed a program called "Basic Management: The Newly Appointed Manager" from the Executive Education Center. In 2010, Heidi pursued higher education and earned a Master's degree in Higher Education Guidance & Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.
