Amanda Malden-Browne

Amanda Malden-Browne has a diverse and extensive work experience history in the beauty and education industries. Amanda started their career as a Beauty Therapist at Roy Allan in 1981 before becoming a Sales Representative for skincare brand JEAN D'AVEZE (UK) LIMITED in 1983. In 1984, they opened their own hair and beauty salon called La Cut Hair and Beauty, which they operated until 1993. From 1993 to 1994, Amanda worked as a Medical Sales Representative at Astra Pharmaceuticals.

Amanda then shifted their focus to education, joining Waltham Forest College as a Lecturer in 1993. Amanda became a Curriculum Manager in 2000 and worked there until 2005. During their time at the college, Amanda also worked as a State Educator for Queensland at Advanced Skin Technology from 2006 to 2014, providing training and education in the beauty industry. At iTEC, Amanda served as the Principal Examiner from 2005 onwards. In this role, they managed a team of quality assurance examiners and conducted checks across the Asia Pacific and Australasia region.

Most recently, Amanda Malden-Browne joined Laureate International Universities in 2014 as a Senior Learning Facilitator.

Amanda Malden-Browne obtained a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and a Diploma in Hairdressing from Ware College in Hertfordshire, UK between 1979 and 1981. Amanda also completed O Levels/AS Levels at Charters Towers in Bexhill on Sea and O Levels/CSE at Prince Rupert School in Rintel, Germany. In addition, they earned a Graduate Certificate in IPL and Laser from TAFE Queensland. Lastly, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Education and Training with a focus on Education from the University of Greenwich.
